We are a small, husband-and-wife team based in a quiet Scottish village just outside Edinburgh.
For over 20 years, Yiota has been studio-designing modern, abstract charts for the advanced stitcher.
Every design is hand-refined by Yiota to ensure it isn’t just a beautiful image, but a technical joy to stitch.
While Yiota is perfecting the charts, Dino is in the engine room, hand-winding every thread and ensuring every kit is packed with precision.
We don’t just sell kits; we share our passion for the craft, from our studio to your hands.
About our kits
We only sell counted cross stitch kits. We design and sell our own products.
About our threads
All our kits are of top quality. They include Madeira 6 stranded cotton threads. We wind all threads on 4 meter and 8 meter card bobbins and add more than enough threads for your project - you will not run out of threads! But if you do, email us a photo of your work in progress and we will figure out how much more thread you will need and send it to you.
Madeira is an excellent German quality that has over 100 years of research and development invested, ensuring you get the highest quality threards.
Threads are shiny giving a project a slightly glam look. They do not discolour from sun exposure or bleed onto fabric, they can be washed in washing machine at 60 Degrees Celsius or 140 Fahrenheit.

Our designs are licensed by a company called Art Licensing International, we also buy professional licenses from Vectorstock and a few other independent artists. All our artwork licenses are non-exclusive.

All our products are hand made. Currently, our processing time is 7 business days

USA Shipping: We now include all US import duties in the shipping fee (Delivered Duties Paid). You won’t be charged anything extra at delivery by USPS. Typical delivery 4–15 business days after dispatch - our service is fully tracked and you can subscribe for updates from USPS. Our site will also send you updates as it travels to you.
Returns
Except the subscription service, we accept returns within 2 weeks of receipt but must be in its original condition.
Return postage fees are paid by the customer if the reason for return is other than a faulty return. If item is faulty or damaged in any way we will cover the cost of return postage.
We will also replace any item that has been damaged by the post office however we need the damaged article to be returned to us so that we can forward it to the post office. We will also reimburse reasonable postage costs for sending damaged items back to us.
